Sergio Lub is an American artist of Russian decent, born in Argentina. Sergio has traveled through every continent learning his craft. From the Andes to the Himalayas, he met with master craftsman who taught him ancient metal working techniques and their deep beliefs of wearing metals for health and vitality. Sergio has respectfully preserved these valuable cultural traditions by incorporating them into his designs. Sergio's bracelets are designed to be worn and enjoyed at all times. The bracelets have a protective coating meant to wear off with use. Showers will keep them clean and brass polish or a jeweler's cloth will keep them shiny.
Metal Content: Surgio Lub uses the finest metals available to handcraft their bracelets. The red metal is 99.99% Pure Copper. The yellow metal is Jeweler's Brass (an alloy of 85% Copper and 15% Zinc). The white metal is German Silver, an alloy used in making white gold (65% Copper plus Zinc, Nickel & Silver).
Essential Mineralst: Both of the main metals, Copper and Zinc, are essential minerals needed by the body to remain healthy. "Copper, when in contact with the skin, forms chelates with human sweat (sometimes seen as green deposits) and is thus absorbed through skin", writes Dr. Ray Walker, of the University of Newcastle, Australia. He adds: "think of a bracelet as a "time-release" source of copper."
